Cooler air moving in
The cold front responsible for the showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday is going to be responsible for the much colder air moving in for Wednesday. Temperatures over the next couple of days will be rather chilly, before warming back up to around average on Friday.
We’ll start the day on Wednesday with temperatures below freezing and won’t warm up too fast. We’ll eventually get back to 40 by noon and into the middle 40s by the afternoon. We’ll have plenty of sunshine and a bit of a northwest wind.
We won’t be the only one starting the day cold. Lows will be in the 20s to the northwest and 30s to the south and east.
We will try to warm up during the day, but that cold front brought with it some chilly arctic air so highs will struggle to get into the middle 40s by the afternoon.
We eventually make it into the 50s Friday and Saturday which is right around average. However, some rain chances will start to move in Saturday and linger through Sunday into Monday.
