Crash knocks down power poles, closes KY 121 in Graves County

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) — A crash Friday afternoon knocked down power poles and forced the closure of a portion of Kentucky Highway 121 in Graves County, according to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the crash occurred around 12:45 p.m. near the intersection of KY 121 North and Key Bottom Road.

Authorities said power poles were knocked down during the crash, and the roadway will remain closed for an undetermined amount of time while crews work in the area.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area until the roadway reopens.
