Crash on Interstate 24 Ohio River Bridge cleared

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A multi-vehicle crash on the Interstate 24 Ohio River Bridge that restricted westbound traffic from Kentucky into Illinois has been cleared.

There is a substantial traffic backup that may take some time to clear, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

Passenger vehicles can self-detour to the U.S. 45 Ohio River “Brookport” Bridge.

The Brookport Bridge is restricted to a 15 ton load limit and vehicles less than 8 ft. wide. No commercial trucks are allowed.
