Crews working to fix natural gas leak in Sikeston

SIKESTON, Mo. (KBSI) – The Sikeston Department of Public Safety is working with Liberty Utilities to contain a broken natural gas line.

Residents who live within the red highlighted area on the map will not have any natural gas service to their homes until the gas line can be fully repaired.

Those with questions as to when services will be restored are asked to contact Liberty Utilities at 573-471-1363 or 855-872-3242.

The leak has been contained at this time. There is no danger to the general public, according to Sikeston DPS.

Anyone who smells a natural gas or knows of a leak is asked to contact Liberty Utilites or Sikeston DPS.
