Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office investigates impersonation case

MARION, Ky., (KBSI) — The Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office is investigating reports of a man impersonating a law enforcement officer in Crittenden County.

The suspect, described as a white male, 55-60 years old, was allegedly operating a black Dodge Charger with blue lights and a siren, and wearing a black polo shirt with a badge.

The Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the suspect is not employed by the department and has not been authorized to conduct law enforcement business.

The suspect has been identified and faces pending charges.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help and encourages anyone who has been stopped or detained by the suspect to contact the department at 270-965-3400.
