DELTA, Mo. (KBSI) — The Delta R-V School District is reporting an increase in student illnesses this week, including several confirmed cases of Influenza B.
In a notice to parents and guardians, district officials asked families to keep children home if they are experiencing symptoms of illness in an effort to help maintain a healthy school environment.
School officials said they are closely monitoring attendance among both students and staff. If illness rates continue to rise and staffing levels are affected, the district said it may consider a temporary school closure later this week.
District leaders said they will continue to provide updates as the situation develops.
