Delta R-V student in custody

DELTA, Mo. (KBSI) – Delta School District issued an immediate lockdown after a student made a threat.

According to a Facebook post made by Delta R-V School District Thursday evening, the event occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m.

School officials were handling a disciplinary situation with a student who then made a threat. Officials are not releasing details about the threat at this time.

The nature of the threat caused them to call law enforcement and issue an immediate lockdown.

School officials say the student was quickly taken into law enforcement custody.
