Deputies arrest Kentucky man on parole violation for charge of unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor

LYON COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) -A Kentucky man is behind bars after allegedly trying to entice a minor.

According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department Deputy David Carroll arrested Billy A. Poe age 44 of Princeton on Monday evening, December 23, 2024.

Poe was a fugitive with a Parole Violation warrant for violating parole supervision.

Poe is also a registered sex offender having been convicted in Lyon Circuit Court of Unlawful Use of Electronic Means to Induce a Minor.

He was located by Deputy Carroll and KSP Troopers at a residence on KY 293 near Saratoga.

Poe was taken to the Crittenden County Detention Center.
