Deputies searching for man accused of attacking another with liquor bottle

NEW MADRID COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – Deputies in New Madrid County are searching for a man they believe attacked someone with a liquor bottle.

Deputies say it happened in the 300 block of Shelly Street.

They say the suspect, Robert Waters, allegedly attacked a victim with a liquor bottle.

They say another person was injured while trying to protect her.

Two children were there when the incident occurred, but were not harmed.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital for their injuries.
