Deputies seek suspect after counterfeit bills used at Water Valley business

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — The Graves County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect accused of attempting to pass counterfeit money Friday afternoon.
Deputies said the incident occurred around 1 p.m. Feb. 13 at a business in Water Valley. Authorities said a white male suspect attempted to use counterfeit bills but fled the store after employees refused the transaction.
The suspect left the scene in a newer model white Nissan four-door passenger car. Investigators said the vehicle was missing the entire left rear taillight housing and did not display a license plate.
