Deputy arrests fleeing driver in Pemiscot County

CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — A Pemiscot County deputy arrested a man who fled at a high speed after being approached by the deputy on June 8.

Jonathan Turnbow, driving a blue 2009 Dodge Ram truck, was initially seen parked in the middle of State Highway 164. When the deputy approached, Turnbow sped away, leading the deputy on a chase.

Turnbow eventually stopped behind a residence and attempted to flee again after exiting the vehicle. After a brief struggle, he was restrained and arrested.

Turnbow faces charges including resisting arrest, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and careless and imprudent driving.
