Dexter, KY man facing drug, shoplifting, resisting arrest charges

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Dexter, Ky. man faces shoplifting, drug and resisting arrest charges in Calloway County.

Jordan Gray, 41, of Dexter faces charges of shoplifting warrant (Class B misdemeanor), resisting arrest and possession on controlled substance 1st degree 3rd offense (methamphetamine).

On Nov 6, 2023 at approximately 6:30 pm

Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies tried to serve a warrant in Dexter on November 6 around 6:30 p.m. for shoplifting from a Dollar General.

Gray was found and while being arrested, sheriffs’ deputies say he tried to pull away and resist.

He was found to be in possession of an illicit drug which is a Class D felony, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.

Gray had been found guilty of possession two other times, the last in 2019.

He was taken to the Calloway County Detention Facility.
