Dinosaur shows, family comedy among SEMO District Fair attractions

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Dinosaur shows, family comedy and hands-on children’s activities will be among the attractions at the SEMO District Fair Sept. 12-19.

Agriland will offer opportunities to learn about agriculture, including duck races using an old-fashioned, hand-operated well pump. Kidzone will feature a variety of hands-on activities for children throughout the week.

Dinosaur Takeover, a live show featuring large, lifelike dinosaurs, will take place on the south fairgrounds. Performances are scheduled for 2, 4 and 6 p.m. Sept. 12, 13 and 19, and 5:30 and 7 p.m. Sept. 14-18.

On the north fairgrounds, Kenny Ahren will present a family comedy show featuring physical comedy and audience participation. Performances are scheduled for 1:30, 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. Sept. 12, 13 and 19, and 4:30, 6 and 7:30 p.m. Sept. 14-18.
