PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — The Perry County School District 32 Board of Education will hold a community engagement open house Saturday, Jan. 17, to discuss plans for rebuilding Perryville High School.
The meeting is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon at the Robinson Event Center, 2411 Walters Lane, and is open to members of the District 32 community.
Representatives from Sapp Design Architects will present proposed plans and renderings for a reimagined high school facility developed using feedback from community members and school stakeholders.
District officials also plan to discuss projected costs and financing options, including the district’s insurance payout, a potential bond issue on the April ballot, and the possibility of future reimbursement from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
“We invite our families, staff and community members to join us for this meeting as we share plans for a project that will impact our community for generations,” Superintendent Dr. Fara Jones said.
