Doggie Easter egg hunt to be held Saturday, March 23
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Plans for an Easter egg hunt dedicated to furry friends thanks to Busch Pet Products in Cape Girardeau.
The Peeps for Paws for a Good Cause Doggie Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 23 at 2039 Cape LaCroix Road from 10 a.m. to noon.
The event will benefit Howie’s Harvest and the Southeast Missouri Food Bank.
Registration form are available on Busch Pet Product’s Facebook page.
Tickets are $15 per dog to hunt.
Dogs will get to hunt for eggs in two play yards at Deer Creek. Depending on the number of entrants, they will split the dogs up into heats.
Each egg collected has a coupon for a prize. All eggs are winners.
They will also have a free Scent Garden provided by Shelly Wood Dog Training.
Other vendors include Bella’s Pet Products, a locally-owned dog treat manufacturer, and Jessi Moore with Team Dillick, who will have games and a coloring contest.
Human food will be available from Zimzala Vibes and The Cheesecake Ninja.
