Doniphan man faces domestic assault charge

DONIPHAN, Mo. (KBSI) – A man was arrested for a domestic assault incident.

According to the Doniphan Police Department on November 19, 2024, an officer was dispatched to a residence in reference to an assault incident.

The suspect had left the scene before officers arrived.

The suspect George Christopher Wedge age 40 of Doniphan later returned to the residence and was issued a warrant for his arrest the next day.

Wedge faces a charge of 2cd degree Domestic Assault.
