Downed trees, power lines block Graves County road after storms

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Drivers are being asked to avoid a portion of Kentucky Route 849 East due to downed trees and power lines Thursday morning.

The Graves County Sheriff’s Office said the roadway is blocked near the former Hoskins BBQ.

Officials said similar conditions are being reported on multiple roads across the county following overnight storms.

Drivers should use caution and avoid blocked roadways as crews work to clear storm damage.
