Driver arrested after multiple reports of reckless driving on I-24 and city streets

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — A driver was arrested following a reckless driving incident reported by multiple motorists Wednesday morning.
Paducah E-911 Dispatch received approximately 13 calls around 7 a.m. on Jan. 14 reporting a dark-colored Toyota Camry traveling on Interstate 24 and cutting off multiple vehicles while driving with hazard lights activated. Callers also reported the vehicle performing donuts in the intersection of Hinkleville Road and New Holt Road, creating a serious hazard for other drivers.
Officers used the Flock Safety camera system to locate the vehicle at a gas station on Park Avenue. The driver, identified as 25-year-old Austin Sporea, was taken into custody at the scene.
Sporea was charged with reckless driving and second-degree disorderly conduct after allegedly causing a disturbance when confronted by officers.
