Driver stranded on flooded HWY 51 South amid rescue efforts

HICKMAN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) – Emergency responders are on the scene attempting to rescue a driver whose vehicle became stranded in floodwaters on Highway 51 South.

The highway is closed between KY 780 and KY 2209 until further notice.

Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution and not attempt to drive through flooded roads or around barricades.
