Drivers asked to avoid southbound lanes of I-57 in Franklin County after crash

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. (KBSI) – Drivers are asked to avoid the southbound lanes of Interstate 57 near the 68 mile marker after a traffic crash.

The Franklin County Emergency Management Agency sent an alert asking driver to avoid the area and take alternate routes.

The nearest exits are West Frankfort (S) and Benton (N).
