Drivers detoured after semi crash closes highway in Calloway County

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — All lanes of U.S. 641 South near Hazel are temporarily closed following a single-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.

The closure is at E.W. Miller Street, immediately north of Hazel. Authorities said the highway is expected to remain closed for approximately two hours.

Traffic is being detoured using Kentucky Route 2547 and Brandon Road.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
