Drivers reminded to watch out for school buses as new school year begins

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Area schools are now open for the new school year.
School buses will pick up students in the mornings and bring them back home in the afternoon hours in all areas of Mayfield and Graves County.
Drivers are asked to obey speed limits in the school zones.
Graves County Sheriff’s deputies will be present and visible as much as possible at all county schools.
“Let’s hope and pray for a great school year for all of our parents and students, and we all need to say a big thank you all school staff, bus drivers, and our colleagues, the school resource officers. Shoutout to Dessa Rohrer and her staff for keeping the school buses running smoothly,” said Graves County Sheriff Jon Hayden.
