Drug bust in Cape Girardeau leads to arrest

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – On September 13 around 4:00 pm the Cape Girardeau Police Department along with the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force conducted a search at the 300 block of Northwest End Blvd.
According to the Cape Girardeau Police Department the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force had been previously investigating this situation.
During the search officers found Collin Pearl age 21 of Cape Girardeau lived at the address. Pearl had two outstanding warrants from other agencies.
During the search officers found 1.8 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, 85 grams of suspected cocaine, 20 pounds of marijuana, 13 Xanax pills, one loaded firearm and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Pearl was charged with a class C felony of delivery of controlled substance X’s 2 and class E felony of unlawful use of a weapon.
Pearl is currently being held on a $200,000 cash only bond.
