Du Quoin State Fair moves exhibitor registration online

DU QUOIN, Ill., (KBSI) — Registration for livestock, equine and home show exhibitors at the Du Quoin State Fair has moved online.

Exhibitors can now register through the ShoWorks platform. Registration information, premium books and a step-by-step tutorial are available on the fair’s website.

Fair staff, show superintendents and youth advisers spent several months converting the previous paper-entry system to the digital platform.

“Our priority is to make the process more efficient for our exhibitors,” Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Jerry Costello II said.

Fair Manager Luke Davison said online registration has become standard across the industry and will provide a more efficient and secure way to manage entries.

The registration deadline is 11:59 p.m. Aug. 8.

Exhibitors needing assistance may call the Competitive Events office at 618-542-1509 or 618-542-1525. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Du Quoin State Fair is scheduled for Aug. 28 through Sept. 7. Additional information is available at dsf.illinois.gov.
