Dyersburg Police look for shooter after man injured

DYERSBURG, Tenn. (KBSI) – The Dyersburg Police Department is looking for a shooter who shot and injured a man.

Police say it happened Saturday, Oct. 23 around 3:45 p.m. Officers arrived at the scene on St. Joseph Avenue to find a 24-year-old Dyersburg man had been shot. He was airlifted to a Memphis hospital. His condition is unknown.

Police found multiple .223 shell casings. The suspect vehicle and the shooter were captured on video.

A 4-year-old child who was playing in the front yard at the time of the drive-by shooting, and another adult were not injured.
