Early bird deadline approaches for Perryville Mayfest 5K

PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — Perry Park Center is encouraging residents to register for the Mayfest 5K Run/Walk before the early bird deadline.

Officials said participants can save $5 by registering by April 12. The race will start and end at the Perry Park Center and feature a route through the park and nearby neighborhoods.

Registration is $20 per participant and includes an event T-shirt, refreshments and awards for top finishers. Organizers said same-day registration will be cash only, and T-shirts are not guaranteed for late registrants.

Proceeds from the event will support community programs and recreation activities.
