East Missouri Action Agency, Community Partnership of Southeast Missouri team up for school supplies giveaway

School Supplies Giveaway

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – East Missouri Action Agency and Community Partnership of Southeast Missouri are teaming up to host a back-to-school event giving out school supplies to any child in need.

Ashley Rice from Community Partnership of Southeast Missouri says in addition to school supplies, they are seeking monetary donations to help purchase additional items and cover any other expenses related to the giveaway.

“We’re trying to reach kids that you know who don’t have as much school supplies as others, or who are in need of school supplies,” said Rice.

Your contributions will help provide essential items to students in need, ensuring they have the tools necessary for success.

Community Partnership of Southeast Missouri will host a school supplies giveaway at the Cape Public Library on Thursday, August 8 where students can receive free supplies such as notebooks, pencils, backpacks and more.

It is from 3-8 p.m. at the Cape Public Library located at 711 Clark Street in Cape Girardeau.

School supplies are being accepted at the Cape Public Library or tap here to make a monetary donation.
