Egypt Mills Antique Tractor club celebrates 42nd annual festival

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The Egypt Mills Antique Tractor Club hosted its 42nd annual Egypt Fest on Saturday August 26 to Sunday August 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The festival featured food, games, and a live performance from Fat Daddy’s Band.

Dwayne Kirchhoff, board member of the Egypt Mills Antique Tractor Club says, “We developed this to have events for the whole family. We do a lot of events to show the history of the antique equipment.”

Next year’s festival will be held a weekend before Labor Day.

The tractor club will also be featured in this year’s SEMO District Fair in Cape Girardeau, MO.

The history of the festival dates back to 1981.
