Emergency crews to conduct joint training on Mississippi River in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The Cape Girardeau Special Response Team will conduct a joint training exercise with the Cape Girardeau Fire Department at the Redstar Boat Ramp at the Mississippi River on Thursday, August 29.

The training will possibly extend to the Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge.

The training starts at 8:30 a.m. on August 29 and will run most of the day.

Cape Girardeau police warn the public this is a training exercise only.
