Emergency responders handle two water-related calls in Marshall County
MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Emergency responders handled two calls on the water Thursday night.
A disabled boat drifting toward the dam was located and towed to a marina. The vessel had no oars or anchor on board.
Responders later received a report of a suspected boat crash into the breakwall outside Moors Marina. Marshall EMS and AirEvac were placed on standby, but upon arrival, no boat or injured passengers were found.
Local dispatchers and responders from the Rescue Squad, South Marshall Fire Department, East Marshall Fire Department, Marshall EMS and AirEvac participated in the responses.
