Employee in custody after allegedly selling meth out of drive-thru window of the business she worked at

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Kentucky woman faces multiple charges after allegedly selling drugs through a drive through window.

According to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office over the past several months, numerous complaints were received regarding an employee selling methamphetamine through the drive-thru and in the parking lot of a business located on North 12th St. in Murray, KY.

Deputies with the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office started an extensive investigation.

On November 26, 2024, narcotics detectives conducted surveillance of the location.
They observed multiple hand-to-hand drug transactions involving the employee, Mary K. Harness, age 52 who was working at the time.
Detectives seized approximately 19.92 grams of crystal methamphetamine, along with digital weight scales, numerous small plastic bags, and several other items consistent with drug trafficking operations.
Harness, was previously convicted of trafficking methamphetamine in 2021 in Calloway County, was arrested and taken into custody.
Harness was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
Harness faces charges of
-Traff. In Cont. Sub. 1st Degree, 2nd Offense > or = 2gms Methamphetamine (Class B felony)
-Drug Paraphernalia- Buy/Possess
