Endangered Silver Advisory issued for missing Mississippi County woman

MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) — Authorities in southeast Missouri have issued an Endangered Silver Advisory for a missing woman last seen in Bloomfield.

The Mississippi County Sheriff’s Office said Mary Louise Woods, 62, was last seen around 2 p.m. on March 3 in Bloomfield.

Woods is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 170 pounds, with black and gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with colored designs, black jeans, black rubber-style sandals, a white T-shirt and a blue sock hat.

Authorities say Woods walks with a limp and may have abrasions on her face.

Officials said Woods has been diagnosed with dementia and schizophrenia and may be without her medication or money.

Anyone who sees Woods or has information about her location is asked to call 911 or contact the Mississippi County Sheriff’s Office at 573-683-2111.
