Escaped Henderson County inmate captured by authorities

HENDERSON, Ky., (KBSI) — The Kentucky State Police announced that escaped inmate Timothy A. Oliver has been located and taken back into custody.

Troopers, along with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office and Henderson City Police, arrested Oliver just after 10 a.m. Wednesday. He was found off Crooked Road in the Reed community and taken into custody without incident. Oliver was lodged once again in the Henderson County Detention Center.

Oliver, 53, escaped from the detention center around 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21. He had been serving a sentence for third-degree burglary.

Authorities thank the public for their assistance and cooperation during the search.
