Evansville, IN man sentenced to 80 year for Mt. Vernon, IL murder
(KBSI) – A man who was convicted of murder in rural Mt. Vernon was sentenced to 80 years.
Treyaveon D. Massie, 24, of Evansville, Ind. was sentenced to a combined 80 years in prison.
Cadias D. Jackson, 46, of rural Mt. Vernon died on September 22.
Jefferson County Sheriff Bullard thanked the deputies and detectives of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Mt. Vernon Police Department officers, and prosecutors with the State’s Attorney’s Office for their work in this case.
