Extra trash pick up Dec. 26-Jan. 5 in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Cape Girardeau Public Works employees will do extra trash pick up the week after Christmas.

Between December 26 and January 5, crews will pick up a reasonable amount of extra trash.

Residents are aske dto sit extra bags next to their cart on trash day (not on top of it).

Staff will dump the cart, put the extra items in the cart and then dump the cart again.

Carts will only be dumped twice, so please consider recycling as much as possible.
