FAA releases initial report on Fulton County plane crash that injured four

FULTON COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Federal investigators have released initial information about a plane crash that injured four people Friday in Fulton County.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, a Cessna 421C crashed in a field near Fulton Airport around 1:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21.
Four people were aboard the aircraft at the time of the crash, according to the FAA.
The crash prompted the closure of Kentucky 1706 between Kentucky 166 and Kentucky 94 near Fulton Airport. The roadway remained closed for nearly 24 hours before reopening Saturday.
All four people aboard the plane were taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City following the crash.
The FAA is investigating the crash. Information released during the early stages of an aviation investigation is considered preliminary and is subject to change.
