Fall Turkey Hunt regulations

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – As we get closer to Thanksgiving many will be on the ‘hunt’ for a Turkey.
Theres a couple changes this hunting season that Turkey hunters should be aware of.
According to the Missouri Department of Conservations website you can no longer use an archer’s permit to get turkeys. You must use a fall turkey hunting permit to get turkeys.
Secondly the fall turkey hunting permit allows for two turkeys during fall turkey season (archery and firearms portions combined).
Some counties are closed to firearms hunting during the firearms portion.
