FEMA Teams to assist disaster survivors in Camden, Wayne Counties
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — FEMA’s Disaster Survivor Assistance teams will be in Camden and Wayne counties this week to help individuals affected by the March 14-15 severe storms and wildfires.
Teams will be available at the Camden County Emergency Management office in Camdenton on June 11-12 and at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Piedmont on June 10-11.
Survivors can register for FEMA assistance, get help with case inquiries and find community resources.
Homeowners and renters in 20 Missouri counties, including Camden and Wayne, are eligible to apply for FEMA disaster assistance.
Applications can be made online at disasterassistance.gov, by calling 1-800-621-3362 or through the FEMA app.
The registration deadline is July 22.
