Fire crews responding to house explosion in Energy

ENERGY, Ill., (KBSI) — The Herrin Fire Department confirmed crews are responding to a house explosion near College Street.

Several streets are blocked in the area while emergency crews work at the scene. Drivers should avoid the area and give responders room to work.

Officials said additional information will be released when it becomes available.
