Fire destroys home in Hurst; multiple departments on scene

HURST, Ill., (KBSI) — Multiple fire departments responded Wednesday to a house fire in the 500 block of Bush Avenue, where a home was fully engulfed and is considered a total loss.

No injuries have been confirmed.

A box alarm was requested, bringing additional agencies from across the region. Ameren Illinois also responded to the scene.
