Firefighters battle detached garage fire in McCracken County

McCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Firefighters spent nearly three hours battling a detached garage fire Tuesday in the 200 block of Locust Avenue.

West McCracken Fire/Rescue was dispatched at about 11:40 a.m. to assist the Concord Fire Department.

Crews arrived three minutes later and found the garage burning near other structures.

Firefighters worked to extinguish the flames and protect nearby property. West McCracken crews also provided an additional water supply.

Units cleared the scene shortly before 2:40 p.m. No injuries were reported.
