Firefighters fight 2 fires in Kennett

KENNETT, Mo. (KBSI) – Firefighters in Kennett fought two fires early Thursday morning.

The Kennett Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire on South Anthony street in Kennett at 12:28 a.m.

Firefighters say the fire was located on the south side of the builing.

Firefighters entered the building that put out the blaze with minimal damage.

No was injured. The fire was ruled incendiary in nature.

Then, at 3:37 a.m Kennett firefighters responded to a possible fire on Wilburn Drive in Kennett.

When firefighters arrived they found smoke coming from the home.

Firefighters put out that fire with minimal damage.

No was injured. The fire was ruled electrical in nature.
