Firefighters put out fire at home on Hwy. W in Cape Girardeau County

CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – Firefighters put out a fire at a home on Highway W Wednesday afternoon.

Crews rescued two dogs from a home at 8257 Hwy. W by breaking down the garage door.

Fire crews say there is minimal damage.

The fire department responded within five minutes of receiving the call.
