Firefighters put out house fire in Cape Girardeau
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Cape Girardeau firefighters put out a house fire late Tuesday night.
Firefighters responded to a fire at 547 S. Pacific at 10:30 p.m. on October 3.
When firefighters arrived, they could see smoke showing from the front side of the building.
Everyone was out of the house and accounted for.
Mutual aid was called to the scene and to back fill fire stations.
Firefighters put out the fire about 20 minutes after arriving on scene.
They stayed on scene for about two-and-a-half hours.
No was was reported injured.
The fire is considered accidental. It is estimated the caused about $70,000 worth of damage to the home.
