Fish fries in the FOX23 area

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – Churches, veterans’ organizations and community groups are hosting fish fries and related events in the coming weeks.
Missouri
Maple United Methodist Church has rescheduled its Fish and Chicken Fry to Feb. 27.
The Knights of Columbus Council 640 in Jackson will host fish fries Feb. 13 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays during Lent from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Meals are $15 and include fish or chicken, fries, hush puppies, mac and cheese, baked beans, slaw and a drink. Additional fish fries are scheduled April 17, May 15, Sept. 11 and Oct. 16.
The St. Vincent Parish Fish Fry will be held Feb. 20 and March 6, 20 and 27 at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Dine-in service is from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Individual meals are $12, children’s meals are $6, family and bulk pricing is available, and children 5 and younger eat free for dine-in only. Carryout and delivery are available.
The Scott City Knights of Columbus will host fish fries Feb. 20 and 27 and March 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 28745 U.S. Highway 61. Meals are $15 for adults, $8 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and younger.
In Sikeston, the SEMO Shrine Club will host all-you-can-eat catfish dinners Feb. 6, 13, 20 and 27 and March 6 and 13 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Adult dine-in meals are $18 and takeout is $15.
The Kelly-Benton FFA Fish Fry will be held Feb. 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $13.
The Oran Jaycees will host fish fries Feb. 13, 20 and 27; March 6, 13, 20 and 27; and April 3 at the Oran Jaycee Hall. Dine-in meals are $16, carryout is $14, children under 12 dine-in are $10 and children under 6 dine-in are free.
Illinois
Babe’s Fish will be open Ash Wednesday in addition to its regular Thursday through Saturday hours from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Knights of Columbus Marion Council will host fish fries every Friday during Lent from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., except Good Friday. Meals are $15 for adults and $7 for children ages 6 to 14.
Kentucky
The Knights of Columbus Holy Rosary Council 1055 will host Friday fish fries from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 3028 Jefferson St. in Paducah. Menu options include fried or baked fish or fried shrimp with traditional sides.
Parishes throughout the Diocese of Owensboro continue to host Friday fish fries during Lent. Residents are encouraged to check church websites and social media for updated schedules and pricing.
