Flood warning issued for community due to cross drain failure

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) – A cross-drain failure near Bagget Lane in the Farley community has prompted a flood warning. Residents between Baggett Lane and Lydon Road are advised to consider evacuating immediately or may become cutoff.

The water has risen steadily over the past few hours, and residents are urged not to wait.

The evacuation is voluntary, and deputies, emergency management personnel, and first responders are preparing to go door-to-door to notify residents.
