Flooding impacts Ky Hwy 58 West, motorists advised to avoid area

MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — The Graves County Sheriff’s Office is advising motorists to avoid Ky Hwy 58 West, just east of the Hickman County line, due to flooding.

As of 4:55 p.m. Tuesday, traffic is still moving, but rising water levels may soon render the roadway impassable.

In a related incident, a vehicle stalled on Ky Hwy 1283 in the same area, and the driver was rescued by first responders.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area until further notice.
