Florida man faces additional charges after McCracken County vehicle search

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office have filed additional charges against 27-year-old Andrew C. Brown of Oakhill, Florida, following the execution of a search warrant on his vehicle.

The warrant was obtained as part of an ongoing investigation stemming from Brown’s arrest on Oct. 1. During the search, detectives reported finding multiple narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and stolen property, including a stolen handgun.

Authorities said Brown, a convicted felon, is prohibited from possessing firearms. The Sheriff’s Office is working with law enforcement agencies in Montana as the investigation continues.

Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon

Possession of Marijuana

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Illegal Possession of a Legend Drug

Receiving Stolen Property

Possession of a Controlled Substance, 2nd Degree

Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm)
