Four arrested in connection with burglary at Illinois bar

BUCKNER, Ill., (KBSI) — Franklin County deputies arrested four people in connection with a burglary at Backroads Bar, where a suspect broke into the building, smashed an ATM and stole a cash box.

Deputies reviewed video footage and identified a suspect, leading them to a residence in Buckner. A search warrant yielded items linked to the burglary and stolen property from other thefts in the county.

Those arrested include:

— Bryan F. Parks, 44, of Buckner, on charges of burglary, a Class 2 felony, and two counts of theft over $500, a Class 3 felony.

— Michael A. Parks, 47, of Buckner, on a charge of theft over $500, a Class 3 felony.

— Linda N. Fulford, 47, of Buckner, on a charge of theft over $500, a Class 3 felony.

— Mason L. Parks, 21, of Buckner, on a charge of theft over $500, a Class 3 felony.

Cassandra E. Beatty, 25, of Valier, was also arrested on an outstanding warrant from Washington County for possession of methamphetamine.

The Christopher Police Department and Illinois State Police-CSI assisted in the investigation.
