Four car collision at Kentucky intersection

FARMINGTON, Ky. (KBSI) — Graves County Deputies were dispatched to a rollover on the intersection of Kentucky 97 and Kentucky 94 in tri city.

Before deputies got there and first responders could arrive on scene, a second collision occurred at the same location.

An investigation into the crash determined that a Hyundai Elantra was traveling southbound. The driver stopped at the posted sign, and then proceeded to cross the intersection into the path of a Jeep Cherokee. The Jeep and the Hyundai collided, but no injuries to either drivers or the passenger of the Hyundai.

After the accident, another driver stopped to assist in the collision and turned on his emergency lights. However another car, a Chevrolet Silverado, that was traveling eastbound on Kentucky 94 then collided with the Hyundai and the car of the driver who stopped to help.

The driver was taken to the hospital for head and facial lacerations, and the intersection of KY 94 and KY 97 was shut down completely and restricted for roughly an hour and a half.
